Kristin provides strategic leadership for the enrollment functions of the university, including the offices of admissions, financial aid, student success & retention, and community college relations. Her work in student success & retention includes oversight of orientation and transition programs for new students, as well as campus-wide early intervention, retention, and student success initiatives.

De'Carlos collaborates with campus partners on several student success initiatives, including success coaching for students on academic alert and probation, collaborative outreach to students faced with financial barriers, the early readmission program for students returning from academic suspension, and the Jump Start extended orientation program. He also provides individual support to at-risk students and assists with other programs within the department.

Orientation Coordinator

Bailey is responsible for the planning and implementation of the University's new student orientation and transition programs. Each year, she is tasked with hiring and training the summer orientation staff who lead incoming students through each orientation session. She also coordinates UNI Now!, the extended orientation program for all new students, and Family Weekend.

Emma Morin

Emma primarily serves as a success coach for students in the early readmission program during their first semester after suspension.  Emma also assists with the implementation of the early intervention survey for first-year students. Emma is available to support and assist students with any success or retention concerns at any point throughout their time at UNI.

Makenzie assists the Orientation Coordinator with all aspects of new student programming including: the recruiting and training of summer orientation staff, coordination of orientation sessions through outreach to campus partners, oversight of the Cat Crew during UNI Now!, and analysis of follow-up/feedback surveys to help formulate future strategy.
