Kristin provides strategic leadership for the enrollment functions of the university, including the offices of admissions, financial aid, student success & retention, and community college relations. Her work in student success & retention includes oversight of orientation and transition programs for new students, as well as campus-wide early intervention, retention, and student success initiatives.

De'Carlos collaborates with campus partners on several student success initiatives, including success coaching for students on academic alert and probation, collaborative outreach to students faced with financial barriers, the early readmission program for students returning from academic suspension, and the Jump Start extended orientation program. He also provides individual support to at-risk students and assists with other programs within the department.

Orientation Coordinator

Bailey is responsible for the planning and implementation of the University's incoming student orientation programs. Each year, she is tasked with hiring and training the summer orientation staff who lead new students through each orientation session. She also coordinates UNI Now, the extended orientation program for all incoming students, and Family Weekend.

Emma Morin

Graduate Assistant

As the graduate assistant for Student Success, Emma assists in the recruitment, selection, and training of the peer mentors for first-year only classes. She assists with administration of the new student early-alert survey and provides one-on-one support to first-year students. Emma also provides support for other administrative processes in the office of the Vice President of Student Affairs.

As the graduate assistant for Orientation and Transition Programs, Lindsey assists with the planning and implementation of transfer welcome programming and Family Weekend. She also assists with the programming, recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of the student staff members for all orientation and UNI Now programming. In addition, Lindsey provides support for other administrative processes in the office of the Vice President of Student Affairs.
