Students helping students
First-year only (FYO) classroom communities include peer mentors who are there to help support you during the transition to college.
Peer mentors are able to:
- share their experiences as UNI students
- work with faculty members to facilitate class activities
- help you get connected with campus organizations
- provide academic assistance to help support your success during your first year on campus
