Zumba is the fitness craze that fuses Latin-based rhythms with motivating music, unique moves, and challenging combinations.

9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Explore the Cedar Valley Trails

Meet by Maucker Union Outdoor Fountain (groups depart at 9:30 promptly!)
Walk, run, or bike – you choose!  Walk:  enjoy a leisurely guided walk led by Tallgrass Prairie Center staff which will explore the Campus Preserves and trail system near campus.  Run: The Panther Pacers Running Club will lead a run on trails leading to downtown Cedar Falls and back.  Bike:  UNI staff members who enjoy cycling will lead you along paved trails near campus, through Black Hawk Park and around Big Woods Lake – must bring your own bike and helmet to participate.  Note:  the Run group will stop at Downtown Panther Prowl before returning to campus.

Location: Maucker Union Ballroom

We welcome our students back with a fun night of dancing. For those who may not have danced before, have no fear because we will be teaching a Swing and Waltz lesson before the dance starts. The lessons will start at 7:00 and 7:45 pm. At 8:30 pm we will start our social dancing for the night. This will provide plenty of opportunities for you to meet many of your fellow Panthers. As with everything we do through our organization, no partner and no experience are necessary to have fun dancing.

Location: West Gym

The UNI ROTC with help from the Iowa National Guard will present the most tactical laser tag experiecne at the University of Northern Iowa. Come show off your skills at the West Gym.
