Panther Welcome - Spring 2022

Panther Welcome is a welcome week program that helps new students make meaningful connections with other new students, current students, staff and faculty, take care of important business, become acquainted with campus and Cedar Falls, discover University of Northern Iowa traditions, attend fun social events, and find out what it means to be a UNI Panther!

Bring your UNI ID, state ID, keys, wallet and reusable water bottle to all events just so you will have what you need at each event. For most events all items are free, but for some event you may want to have money on you to make a purchase. This is good practice for anytime you are out and about on campus or in the Cedar Valley.

Masks are encouraged, but not required. All members of the campus community are strongly encouraged to receive a vaccination against COVID-19. More information can be found at forwardtogether.uni.edu.

We will be checking students in at each event. For each event you are marked as present you will be entered to win one of the grand prize drawings.
Grand prizes:

  • One (1) $100 gift card to the UNI Bookstore
  • Two (2) Panther prize packs full of UNI items
